Original British East India Company Officer Sword Circa 1830 French Edged Weapons Also shows a clear COLTSOriginal Item: One Available. A very rare and unusual sword featuring a 32 1 2" slightly curved blade and 38" in overall length. Very nice gilt brass lion head guard and pommel incorporating a silver East India Company badge with rampant lion inlaid into the guard. Left side of guard has folding forward section to allow sword to be worn flat against left hip. Ray skin grip, somewhat worn but still secured by the original brass and copper braid wire.
